08:10 AM ET 06.25 | Jim Calhoun speculated recently that NBA teams might float mysterious injuries about a player in hopes that player falls in their laps at the draft. This Thursday, Calhoun will be watching as two more of his players -- Andre Drummond, who played just one year at UConn, and Jeremy Lamb. ... Lately, Calhoun has been asked about a mysterious shoulder injury regarding Lamb. "And we know nothing about it," he said. Lamb has worked out for several teams. What kind of team would be best for him? "It would be good if he had something like he had here with Kemba [Walker]," Calhoun said, "a guard who could draw defenders to him then kick it back out. I've told [NBA scouts], Jeremy is the best long-range shooter out there."

A guy who shot 33% is the best long range shooter? Not a chance. I just don't see this guy becoming even a good caliber starting player. Maybe a rotation guy

I love how he said he should play with Kemba, another Huskie...no thanks Jimmy! We have enough non-athletes on the Bobcats as is!

QUOTE(#3):

I've seen lamb alot.He is a decent shooter....but not athletic at all......He will never start in the nba.Taking him anywhere the lottery is a bad idea.

I'd agree that I wouldn't touch him with a high pick. He just doesn't have that one skill that's better than the rest, just solid all around and those guys just usually don't translate well.

that isnt what he said at all. He said "it would be good if he had something like he had here with Kemba" Meaning he should play with a player who plays a similar style of basketball as Kemba Walker does in order for him to excel.
