08:13 AM ET 06.25 | Few prospects over the past two years have been as scrutinized as Harrison Barnes, something that isn't likely to change even after the draft. The Charlotte Bobcats are believed to be high on Barnes -- keep in mind the Michael Jordan/North Carolina connection -- but don't want to take him second overall. That's why so much speculation persists on the Cavs and Bobcats working a deal that would give the Cavaliers the No. 2 pick and access to anyone not named Anthony Davis, while the Bobcats would drop down two spots, still in position to take Barnes, and would presumably pick up the Cavs' extra first-round pick. ... There is still a chance he winds up with the Cavaliers, but it's no longer the lock it seemed to be just a few weeks ago.

It's not as if they've been running such a tight ship the past few years. Cavs are stuck. They are wary of MKG because they think they need a scorer. They MAY, I repeat, MAY be coming around to seeing Barnes is overrated. So this forces their hand to move up to get Beal. OR settle for MKG or hope Robinson is around at 4.

I understand loyalty. But at some point those still hanging on to those strong ties, like it appears to be with those loyal to UNC, need to just move on and do what is best for business. Don't get me wrong, I am all for UNC. But in the in the end, it is a business, not just a networking, we have something in common thing. And you have to do what is best to make the business successful. Is that Barnes? Maybe. But maybe not!
