08:05 AM ET 06.26 | Peyton Manning, of course, has time to change things, but he has some work to do. The folks at Public Policy Polling included some quarterbacks questions in a recent survey of Colorado voters. The results showed that local voters prefer Tim Tebow as a person, but prefer Peyton Manning as a quarterback. According to a release from the polling agency, Tebow received a 68 percent favorable rating as a person, compared to 57 percent for Manning. Tebow had an 18 percent unfavorable rating, compared to only 10 percent for Manning. But as a quarterback, 53 percent of the nearly 900 voters surveyed preferred Manning under center for the Broncos. Only 21 percent said they would rather have Tebow as the Broncos' quarterback.

This is the difference between religion and football. Yes, I'll say it. I have no issue with Tebow but if we're talking football then there is no discussion here.

This belongs to the fanatics that cannot take religion out of the equation. Go ahead and be the one to call me blasphemous. I've got a nice big cup of something for you.

Consecrated wine?

When I was a kid and got dragged to the Methodist church, we had communion. They used Welch's Grape Juice. Really.

Hey DD. Never liked the wine in church. I was raised Catholic, fortunately not by any of "those" priests. I tried attending one of those non-denominational churches 2 or 3 yrs back and that wasn't for me either. They actually have security badges that you need to wear and so I got a visitor's badge which just made me more of a target.

Now, I don't care who you are, that's funny right there.

And porn sites are more popular than education sites. Doesn't mean the former is better for you than the latter.

I really don't think Peyton or Timmy are bad" people, both keep their noses clean and stay out of trouble. No question who is the better QB. Without Googling the entire poll and reading it (which I don't care enough to do), it just sounds like a meaningless popularity contest.

Well, you can still learn from them.

Man if P. Manning don't perform like he did before the injury them fans will go nuts, he better get them into the play-offs. But by mid-season them Jets would probably trade him back, and that would be funny if Tebow saved there season........highly unlikely tho.

So what, this is a story? Tim Tebow is a nice guy and people like him. WOW! Is that meant to be news???? Hey guys the sky is blue, how about you lead off with that tomorrow?

June 26, 2012  09:45 AM ET

The beauty of Tebow is the ignorance, from the standpoint that nothing off the field probably bothers him because he probably has no clue it's even going on. That has to have a positive effect on someone. Not sure that's what was intended when the myth of Jesus was created (or rather stolen from Egypt's story of Horus) but it seems to work for so many lesser thinkers.

Who cares. Tebow is a 2nd string QB. Stop the madness

June 26, 2012  09:58 AM ET

Silly story.

In Colorado these days, the sky is gray with ash from the fires. They've detected smoke from Colorado (with Science!) as far away as eastern Ohio.

Smoke in Ohio may be related to Cleveland fans fuming about Lebron winning a championship.
