08:07 AM ET 06.26 | Chris Paul couldn't speak more highly more often of Chauncey Billups, who returns to a role he plans to enjoy: free agent. And his good friend, [Paul], aims to be at the top of the list, hoping to get him back in red, blue and white for the 2012-13 season. "He knows my top priority right now is to make sure he's back with us again next season," said Paul, a special guest [Monday] at Chauncey Billups' basketball camp at Parker Fieldhouse. "That was the best backcourt mate I played with since I've been in the NBA." ... Billups said he plans to milk the free agent process for all it's worth. "I liked it a lot (in Los Angeles), but of course I would be crazy not to entertain any other offers that I might have," he said.

Cb is 76 years old and coming off a torn achilles. Why in the world would he be an 'in demand' FA?And if the clipppers are dumb enough to listen to a player who might not even be there in a couple years, instead of trying to make that team better.....they deserve what they get

Leadership and the ability to keep a locker room united.

But, I agree they'd be better served making priority 1 adding an actual sg instead of running a string of pg's and Nick Young there. The more these threads go it's amazing to me the complete lack of good players at the sg position in the NBA right now, seems like everyone is in need of one.

I hear you with the shortage of very good SG's. I think there is some news that the T-Pups are offering "Brandon Roy" a two year contract to play for them....I thought he retired because of the extreme pain of having no cartilage in both knees - Maybe he went to Kobe's doctor in Germany!

He had similar work done on his knees.
