08:04 AM ET 06.27 | A significant upgrade is underway in Tennessee. Construction continues at LP Field, where the longest video boards at any outdoor stadium in the world are on schedule to be completed in time for the Titans' first preseason game in August. Upon completion, the two end-zone screens are to be 157 feet long by 54 feet high. The Cowboys have the largest screens -- their indoor stadium's suspended display includes two panels measuring 160 by 72 feet. ... The renovation includes replacing the video ribbons between the decks and installing 800 new speakers and the end-zone video boards. MacLachlan said the total cost will be about $26.8 million. ANC Sports Enterprises is installing the video ribbons and the two video boards.

So, 26.8 million dollars and all they get is more space for advertising?
At least the Cowboys have lovely semi-clothed cheerleaders to put up on the JerryTron.

it is frustrating to have a sellout crowd and have to watch a mediocre home team play a quality opponent....fan support is still high here, but will wane if something good doesn't happen early this year....I for one love the remote idea...put something up on those new screens that would be worthy.......

In the interest of academic research, I checked out the Titans Cheerleaders web site. In my opinion, the do have something worth putting up on those screens.
