08:09 AM ET 06.27 | Keeping up with Lamar Odom next season may mean heading back to Los Angeles. [The Clippers] have engaged in trade discussions to bring [Odom] back to the L.A. team that drafted him, according to sources close to the situation. Yet the deal, sources said, could hinge on the willingness of a third team to take on the contract of Clippers veteran guard Mo Williams, which would allow the Dallas Mavericks to send Odom to the Clippers with no significant money coming back to the Mavericks. With a Friday deadline looming for the Mavericks to buy out the final year of Odom's contract for $2.4 million, Dallas officials have green-lighted Odom's agent, Jeff Schwartz, to try to find a new home for Odom this week via trade.

The Bulls may need a player like Mo he can score the ball. But Odom that whole situation with him is iffy I wouldnt risk too much on him.

7th man vs 2nd option, at one he's a great player while with the other he's over his head. With that said I doubt the Thunder would take on his high salary with Maynor coming back

Mo Williams would be awesome for the Thunder...not sure that is going to happen though. It is nice to dream.

Let me say this...
If the Clips get Odom, that would propel them to 3rd in the West as of the moment and maybe 2nd with the Spurs aging.
Having Blake, and CP3 with Billups coming back, plus Odom and the rest, they would have a good core.

The Bulls need more than Mo but he would not hurt.
Too many working parts to see him a Bull though.

Not sure how?
He would be off the bench and that is James Harden time...Mo would not hurt but he would have to accept less to join them since they are over the cap next season after the extension to Westbrook.

Why? They have Bledsoe. Mo wants out because he wants to be a PG. He isn't going to get that chance with Paul and Billups around.
If Lamar wants to be in LA, the Clippers are his only chance and Mo has some value because his contract is up after next season. He might be 35 but he can still be value off the bench for someone.
