Arizona State's crowded, unsettled backfield

08:21 AM ET 06.28 | Since his hire as running backs coach, Larry Porter hasn't seen much of all the talent he has to work with in Arizona State's backfield -- as Cameron Marshall, Kyle Middlebrooks and Deantre Lewis were either out or slowed because of injury in the spring. The only healthy scholarship back Porter did see every day: senior James Morrison. ... Marshall is expected to receive the bulk of the carries, but distributing touches to the rest might be tricky. "They dictate that," Porter said. "They have to be committed to Coach (Todd) Graham and his program. We didn't have a lot of guys in the spring so a lot of guys will have to come in and invest in the playbook and learn it. We'll push each other. They should all get a chance to play because."

LOL, yeah an article about an ASU RB, is just as bad as an article about a RB from Vandy, Kentucky or Tennessee.

Leach will do a good job in the 12 PAC, but he must recruit the players first.

He should offer the kids Petersen at Boise wants..His scheme seems to work fine

LOL, now you want Leach to steal Peterson's recruits!! Have you ever been to Pullman Washington? IMO, Boise is a much better place than Pullman.

USC is usually good for a mid to late season upset.
