09:13 AM ET 06.30 | Texas A&M freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel was arrested early Friday morning on charges of possessing a fake driver's license, failure to identify himself and for fighting. Manziel, who's competing for the starting job with sophomore Jameill Showers, was arrested at 3:24 a.m. this morning by College Station police in the Northgate bar district. Manziel redshirted last season at A&M after starring at Kerrville Tivy High, where he a was Parade All-American. Showers, then-senior Ryan Tannehill's primary backup last season, appeared to hold the edge at starting quarterback following spring drills, but new coach Kevin Sumlin declined to name a starter going into the summer.
