08:01 AM ET 07.01 | Sources say Deron Williams' patience with waiting for Dwight Howard to eventually come to Brooklyn is wearing out, and that he's likely to make his decision whether to accept the Nets' five-year, $100 million contract offer devoid of Howard as a factor.

Losing patience? Hmmm! So was the (South Beach type) collusion in place and Howard blew it by not bringing his spine to the announcement of his 'decision'?

Too late now for this season. Howard's handcuffed to Orlando this year.

Now the ball's in DWill's court and we'll see if he has what it takes to annouce what he's going to do or follow in the dance steps of DH12!

$100M speaks loudly. Anyone know how much DWill can get from any other team as a FA? Wouldn't he be losing like $20M when all is said and done?

He should just re-sign with the Nets, wait for Howard to come in trade this coming season or as a FA the following. If that fails, Derron can demand a trade as it has become the NBA Prima Donna way!

by refusing to 'opt out' last year, he can get more money via a trade then as a free agent from N J...

Eli still sober?

Yep. Got tired of the headaches and throwing away money for nothing!

I've taken two, three month hiatuses from drinking in the past just to make sure I'm not addicted. This time I'm just tired of it and think I'll retire from the bottle for good.

$26 Mill actually

How'd you come up with that figure? I'm not well informed on the new CBA.

Yeah Dwill probably is wondering (like all of us) why Dwight opted in, now demanding a trade. Well espn is reporting that Dwight has gone to FIBA stating that he was blackmailed into signing it, saying they were threatening to trade him to either the lakers or to the nets if he didn't sign. I mean how dumb is he? Weren't those the teams he wanted to go to, and now demanding to get traded to the nets. Well he thinks FIBA is going to void his contract, but with that being his argument I don't think he is going to get hs way. I'm so sick of him, I hope that the magic trade him for the best deal. Which is the rockets. And guess what the only teams that could afford him in free agency next year would be the trailblazers, and the rockets so he would be stuck. I would love to see baby Dwight not get his way. So that is my drunken ramble for this beautiful Sunday mourning. See how much fun I'm having Eli!
