09:50 AM ET 07.01 | Toronto FC's 1-1 draw with the New York Red Bulls featured a bit of everything Saturday night -- goals, a good result and unexpected drama in the BMO Field dressing room. Earl Cochrane, the club's director of team and player operations, upstaged first-half goals from New York's Jan Gunnar Solli and TFC's Danny Koevermans inside the first 10 minutes when he pulled media aside at halftime and addressed rumors stating Joao Plata is set to leave the club on loan next week. "You guys have seen rumors floating around -- that's what they are," Cochrane said. "Plata, today, is a Toronto FC player -- We've toyed with the idea and we're continuing to think about whether we loan him out." With Plata not receiving much time through the first few months of the season, Cochrane said a potential move would free up cap space to improve the team. But shortly after Cochrane addressed the press box, a Spanish reporter for the league's website found Plata at the stadium, where Plata talked of his imminent departure and his dislike for the current setup. The Ecuadorian went as far to say he would leave Toronto early next week on loan.

It's pretty sad to come back to the ghost town known as FanNation's soccer board...

I'm partially responsible for it being deader than Steve Gutenberg's career, but I don't miss this place all that much. It's just a shame that something that is so public can't be used very well.

Anyway, just know the following:

Bayern didn't stop playing...
