Lee mum on failed trade

I don't think we'll ever see the Stro's do a deal of that magnitude again.

What in the hell does he want? He has to think about an opportunity to go from a last place team to a contender. What is there to think about?

He didn't want to be associated with Dodger fans. That's a sign of wisdom. His stock just went way up in my book.

Lee you could have return the favor to the Astros for that $100 million stupid contract they gave you 6 years ago.

He owns a ranch is the Houston area, and he scored big years ago when the Astros bid against themselves to sign this guy. He has to think about being gone for a few months to possibly play for a team that can contend. This guy is obviously not a winner, just a check casher. If the Astros bring this guy back (because you know he wants to stay since he is so comfortable), they better not pay him more than the veteran minumum or else they are fools.

Good point. Why not let the Astros trade you and let them get some prospects back to help rebuild, then you can resign with them a few months later? Because you don't care, that's why. Heaven forbid you go play for the Dodgers for a few months and then come back.

He's going to love The American League, he can now sleep in between Innings!!!

.....lee shows his true colors....and ensures he is done after this year......unless he wants to play for almost minimum.....

He doesnt want to uproot his family who are probably very content where they live. If the guy is going to retire after this season why would he want to uproot his family from a good location that works for them...Yeah I am sure winning is on his mind but at this point the dodgers aint winning a world series with or without him so why bother?

He's made his millions, his career is winding down, and Houston has been his home for a quite a few years now. I don't think he's motivated enough to go anywhere.

I'm glad he didn't want to go to LA, or LA pulled out, whichever happened first, I'd like to see the Dodgers go after Encarnacion from Toronto.....At least this year, he's a better hitter, a power hitter and is only 29 and make about 3.5M.....
