That's when "The Opening," an invitation-only event for top high school prospects begins at the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. The event starts Thursday and runs through Sunday. ... The Michigan 2013 commits scheduled to attend are: Warren De La Salle quarterback Shane Morris, Detroit Cass Tech offensive lineman David Dawson, Detroit Cass Tech cornerback Jourdan Lewis, Trotwood (Ohio) Madison linebacker Mike McCray II, Pickerington (Ohio) Central defensive lineman Taco Charlton, Wheaton (Ill.) offensive guard Kyle Bosch and Pickerington (Ohio) North tight end Jake Butt.
