08:09 AM ET 07.05 | Earlier this week, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie expressed some displeasure with the recent filing of a lawsuit by the Giants and Jets attempting to stop a planned expansion of a nearby "American Dream" Meadowlands project. "It's not the way the business should be done, and I'm disappointed in the teams for having done it -- and I'll leave it at that," Christie told The Record's Editorial board. Asked when he thought work could be resumed on the long-dormant project, Christie replied, "I think by this fall." Christie reiterated his faith that Jon F. Hanson -- the former New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority chairman and Christie's advisor on sports and entertainment -- would find a way to help revive the former "Xanadu" project.

Too easy CC. LOL. Interesting that with a story about the Jets, Giants and the NJ Gov, we get THAT pic.

What a crazy issue. A giant entertainment mall next to the Meadowlands and people are complaining. Probably not the best use of money to encourage tourism but it'd be an alternative to Atlantic City for a lot of folks.

What's the matter? It's not like someone wants to open a competing circus right next door.

Just trying to enhance the one in place.

Let's see Christie and Rex in a no holds barred, Jersey street fight. The winner gets a lifetime's worth of krispy kreme doughnuts.

Even Bruce Springteen won't meet Christie. Makes you wonder.

Not sure what the Xanadu project was originally planned as, but perhaps the Giants and Jets really want the land attached for themselves to develop.

Sort of what happened in NY with Bloomberg GIVING the Mets Property valued at more than $400 million. Paid for by.........taxpayers.

Indoor amusement and water park. I think they need to find the $2 billion they need to finance it first. That is a lot of payola.

Bloomberg (because the Jets and Giants are from New York you know) supports the Xanadu project too. BUT, you can't have more than (1) 12 oz. drink a game, leave your engine running for more than 90 seconds when leaving or entering the parking lots, eat more than 375 calories at a snack, or bully anybody.............except Eagle's fans.

In Xanadu did Ryan Rex
A stately pleasure-field decree,
Where Mark, the sacred Sanchez, threw
To wideouts measureless to man
Down to but eight and eight

So through three years of loudmouth play
???Til playoff drought did bring them low
And here were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
Where arriveth from the west great Tim Tebow
And here was controversy, ???for the starting snap,
Enfolding sunny spots of foolery

But oh! that deep romantic chasm which slanted
Down the gang green field athwart a pigskin ball!
A savage place! as holy and enchanted
As e'er did rotund coaches pray for Luck
And hear for answer naught but ???The Jets Suck.???

Better her than the image of Rex in Roller Skates and glitter. Take that.
