The next Darrelle Revis?

08:10 AM ET 07.05 | When it comes to cornerbacks, there is Darrelle Revis and then there's everyone else. He has mastered the ability to be physical with receivers, keeping it just short of the point that he gets called for it, and that in and of itself is an art form. He is in a class by himself, but are there players in the NFL that have a shot to join him on that level? ... The last name I want to mention is a rookie, which is usually a no-no for Pro Football Focus, Morris Claiborne. Obviously we have yet to grade a snap of his -- we are, after all, Pro Football Focus -- but in watching some of his LSU tape he plays the ball in the air better than any corner of recent memory.

Linsanity!!!

Huh? I don't think Steve Nash could cover Wes Welker if his life depended on it.

Nash can't stop Tebow either.............

Nor is he big enough to be the Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzales TE.

I am confused as to why Pro Football Focus would focus on a sport with such an obviously round ball. I guess they're just foc'd up.

The actual article at PFF says this about Asomugha and why he isn't at Revis's level..

"but he misses too many tackles in the run game"

Seems from experience that Gilligan Revis misses *all or most* of the tackles in the run game.

Is that another Tim Tebow reference from last season?

Good. Never forget. It's too funny to be lost on future generations.

Yeah, she felt fireworks going off last night.

I see the interns are on top of their game this morning. I wonder how long it'll be before they notice anything is wrong...

Does this mean Nash is going to try holding out, too?

And there's a 'Nash' story on the NHL T&R, too...

He missed more ball-carrier tackles than the oft-mentioned Tebow wiff. That was one of the more obvious and egregious examples.
