08:29 AM ET 07.05 | Among the players heading to the Northwest for "The Opening," the nation's No. 2 overall player, Sammamish (Wash.) quarterback Max Browne, leads an impressive cast of USC commits. [Browne] earned his spot thanks to an MVP performance at the Bay Area Elite 11 and will be able to throw to several of his future Trojan teammates during the 7-on-7 portion. ... The Opening is a great place for running backs to show off all their skills as they'll be tested during pass blocking drills in addition to running and catching the ball. The top running back in the country will be in attendance as Joliet (Ill.) tailback Ty Isaac will be one of eight USC commits on the fields at Nike HQ along with fellow Trojan Justin Davis.

3 of the rivals Top 10. Lowest ranked guy is right around 170. Lane and the staff are workin it big time. Navigating the sanctions pretty well so far. Hopefully it translates to the field.

For you sake, I hope so. Maybe the injuries will hold off too.

The guys with the straightjacket and wearing white coats will be at your door shortly. I suggest you cooperate with them so you don't cause a scene in front of the maid and chill-ens.

It's pretty difficult to get excited about a grip of verbal commits, given the fact that these flakey kids seem to change their destination school in the days and hours before NSD. Some of them change their school just before they announce. And kids with big nicknames in high school rarely pan out. I just found out that Bryce Brown's website is still billing me. That's the last time I do autopayment to follow a high school student, that isn't a chick.

LMFAO, "winner", you had one very good year in the last five years and you call your team a "winner", now that's funny, and don't forget your team lost their last game this year. :-)
