07:06 AM ET 07.07 | Last month, during Vikings mini-camp, receiver Percy Harvin made waves when he told reporters that he wasn't pleased with "a couple things" and that he was contemplating a holdout when the team begins training camp. "I'll just put it this way. There's a lot of different things that have to be sorted out. I just haven't been real happy," said Harvin, who claimed that money wasn't the only issue. In response, the Vikings said Harvin wasn't going anywhere, and now, it appears that Harvin won't hold out after all (according to ESPN's Adam Schefter).

So, if it's not entirely money, what the heck is he so peeved about?

WHo cares. Harvin will probably get his bell rung good in game one or the pre season and be out several games. Funny all those supposedly migraines seem to have been either very selective or fictional?

Its about money, its always about money. I envision his agent had a heart to heart with him and spelled out that if he gets injured in the last two years of his contract via head injuries, concussions again, his value may drop considerably. His only recourse, to get a big money contract now before he gets hurt so he at least gets the bib payday.
Exactly what Forte is trying to do. Get the money before the next big injury devalues you.

It's Going to be a Great NHL Year in Minnesota and not a Great NFL Year, but you will probaly take your frustration out on The Pack, Lions & Bears like da Skins did to the Giants last year!

I've been a Minnesota Viking fan for over 40 years (condolences accepted) and am also a migraine sufferer. To make a statement such as that you must have your head waaaaaaay up your ass!

Hmmm... some HMTL code doesn't work on these boards. "in Minnesota" should have been struck through.

I will go so far as to agree that he is not holding out. The rest is, sadly, just speculation.

That brings T.O. to mind... just what any team needs in their locker room.

Not the slot receiver part... just the drama queen part.
At least Harvin didn't flip the "disrespect" card. Yet.
