Devils fans reactions to Parise's signing of a 13-year $98M contract with the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday were widespread, and one fan expressed his anger by burning his No.9 jersey and posting the video online. The 1:05 second YouTube video shows the user, Evan NJ preparing to roast his Parise jersey in traditional Fourth of July fashion, using a sparkler to ignite the fire. "Well Zach went back to Minnesota," the person in the video says. "Happy Fourth of July, hope you enjoy the lakes and your time there. Bye Zach."

I never owned a Parise jersey. Lesson #1 for being a Devil fan, don't get a jersey with a players name on it, they might just leave. BUt you can probably get a Kovy jersey, he's here for another 14 years, just like Nucks fans can buy a Luongo jersey
