I hate to be disagreable so early on a Sunday Stranger but I think Booby will make the Leafs a better team. He might even sneak them into the playoffs.

You guys are all putting these way too close together. The Leafs aren't going to get eliminated on Tuesday, then Wednesday say "Okay clean house!". What's the rush? It'll be an offseason thing if anything.

Mike Keenan was the GM at the time and he has always claimed it was an ownership decision so cash or their lack of it would have been the main reason for him leaving.
