08:06 AM ET 07.09 | As he prepares for the Olympic Games, Kevin Love can look around to see an awful lot of NBA playoff experience -- except in the mirror. And he's not happy about it. In an interview with Yahoo! Sports, Love urged Minnesota's management to acquire the necessary talent to make the franchise a contender. If the Timberwolves don't start winning this season, Love isn't sure how long he'll want to be a part of Minnesota's future. "My patience is not high," Love said. ... Another losing season could change his desire to stay with the franchise long-term. "At this point, I'm not afraid to go on the record," Love said. "Being around these [USA] guys, they know the situation I'm in and how competitive I am. I want to win."

If the first Kevin couldn't take it anymore, how can this one be expected to?

I hate it when players put the onus on management to buy them a championship. Whatever happened to the will power to do the impossible... Ask not what the Wolves can do for you but what you can do for the Wolves....

Yupp... how long has he been in the league? He shouldn't even be talking or have the right to question management...

The timing of Love saying this is odd. I wonder if he has another motive.

With signings like Batum -- the Wolves roster is finally starting to look solid.

next he will be asked to be traded to the Nets

Totally agree with you. Todays athletes are the biggest whiners on the planet, and there are very few exceptions.

The Wolves are quickly improving. With Rubio healthy and williams getting another yr to progress the wolves should be in the playoffs in the next 2 yrs.

EXACTLY! He hasnt put in years of busting his butt with a limited roster yet like a KG or Ray Allen or LBJ did. I could understand if he's been losing in the 1st round of the playoffs for 5-6 years playing at al all-pro level...come on dude. Ur not even "that guy" yet to say things like this

Love is the perfect complimentary PF to Bynum in LA. Amnesty Kobe, sign CP3, trade for K-Love, resign Bynum or trade for Howard, and LA has the start of something great.

Imagine being one of his teammates at this point - real leader. Jerk
