All along we knew that the KHL would be a threat for [Alexander Semin's] services and while Semin's American agent has maintained throughout that his agent wants to stay in the NHL, it isn't deterring KHL teams like CKSA Moscow. ... [Even after recently signing Alexander Radulov,] CSKA still has plenty of money burning a whole in its pocket and is reportedly eyeing Semin, too. This from U.S.-based Slava Malamud of Sport-Express. "There are unconfirmed (!) reports that CSKA's offer to Semin stand at 3 years, $30 million. Pretty ridiculous money, if you ask me. #Caps"

Ahhhh..............funny. I think I predicted this correctly. I don't think any NHL team is stupid enough to try to give this guy millions and expect a dedicated effort night after night. If this report is true (big if), sign the contract before they have a sudden attack of good sense Alex.
