Pulling out my offended Leafs fan hat:

Can we do this for the Islanders? And the Jackets? And the Oilers, Flames, Habs, Avs, Stars, and every other sad-sack team with a buffoon for a GM? I've realized I should feel somewhat offended by the fact that long before the team the Leafs even start the season, there are already predictions being made on their incompetence (not that they're unfounded at all, i'm just sayin).

At the very least, a Flames or Columbus watch would be nice..

I think it is largely based on T&R's infatuation with the Irked on which by default brings the Leafs into it

Danny - it goes with the territory. Yankees fans deal with this all the time. When you are the eponymous team in your sport, you have to put up with this on occasion.
