08:20 AM ET 07.10 | By the time Notre Dame extended the offer, Justin Brent, a new piece of the 2014 class, knew he was ready to commit. Because Brian Kelly was off campus on Friday, Brent said he waited to make his verbal commitment with a phone call to the head coach Monday evening. His mother stood by him during the phone call crying tears of joy. Brent's visit on Friday marked his third trip to Notre Dame this year. He also visited for the Blue-Gold Game in April and performed for the coaching staff at a one-day camp in late June. The day after camping at Notre Dame, Brent did the same at Ohio State. It was after that visit that Brent knew he fit at Notre Dame. He called [Chuck Martin] after the Buckeye camp to let the coach know he was serious about his interest in the Irish.

Given the history of the QB's and WR's at ND its obvious they have a much better wet bar than tOSU does.

I got tickets for the LSU/MSU game on Nov. 10. I'm looking forward to being harassed by my wife and other LSU fans on the way back to my car after the game! MSU wins 21-17.
