08:08 AM ET 07.10 | Houston's rescinding of Courtney Lee's qualifying offer may be the best thing that's ever happened to him as a pro. [After being asked by Pistons' coach Lawrence Frank how many teams were after him, Lee] started down the list of suitors, but there were so many he lost track. "My brain froze so I couldn't tell him all the teams," Lee said. "There's more than eight teams. Once they pulled my qualifying offer and made me unrestricted the phone kept ringing." One of those teams is the Celtics. Lee met with Doc Rivers over the weekend and the two expressed mutual interest in Lee coming to Boston. "There was no verbal agreement or anything, we're just hearing each other out," Lee said. "They expressed their interest. I expressed my interest."

QUOTE(#2):

Not bad for the Cs as a backup.

With Bradley, Terry and some of the scrubs I don't think they need him. He will be better off on a team like the Blazers...

Blazers got NO ONE. Even Hibbert is not there now.
Lee would fit very well with the C's with Ray gone and Avery not available to start the season.

Yes but he'll get the minutes he'll need to put up big numbers. He sure won't get that with the Celts as Pierce and Rondo dominate the ball..

Rondo is a past first point guard so it's not like he's playing with Allen Iverson. My Celts need help at the 2 guard position. I wanted Eric Gordon but I can settle for Lee.

It will have to be through a sign and trade. Bradley needed additional surgery on his shoulder so he may not be ready for the first month or two of the regular season.

He was a starter on a team that made it to the Finals. He's a good player.

*slow clap* a starter on a finals team...so was Sefolosha

J/k man dont get offended...I was just saying, how slow must the news be to get a post about Courtney Lee. If he wasnt on my fantasy team last year i wouldnt know where he played. He got lost in the shuffle when he went from you guys to NJ
