08:25 AM ET 07.10 | Georgia finally added a player Monday, though it comes with an asterisk. Brandon Burrows, a redshirt sophomore linebacker from Marietta who quit the team just last week, asked for and was granted a reinstatement on Monday. "I'm actually on my way back to Athens right now," said Burrows, reached via cellphone Monday night. "I've just been thinking about it and praying about it a lot. It was weird because, while I was thinking about it, I got a call from Coach [Rodney] Garner and we talked about a lot of things. He was saying I owed it to myself, being fully healthy and not redshirted, to play here and prove to myself I could do it. And I really agree with him." ... "I just can't put into words how thankful I am to be back."

LOL...maybe he realized no one else wanted him

Isn't this the cat that thought he wanted to go someplace else, so he could play DE instead of LB?

These "I'm leaving" -- then "I'm staying" things rarely work out well. See Meyer, Urban near the end of his UF tenure. Billy Donovan so far seems to have made his little stay/go thing work. So far.

Looks like Georgia is trying to keep up with Alabama in thread counts, don't think that anyone can beat Alabama's once a day threads.

With all the dismissals on the UGA team in recent months, Richt's roster was starting to get a bit thin.

boo-hoo-hoo.

In case anybody thinks I am a goldplated azzszhole for making that comment, I would like to point out that it is my contractual duty as a Gator alum to revel in any and all problems/issues/negatives that affect the Dawgs. And vice versa.

UGaly and ND are fighting it out for 2nd place. Bama lock on first place.

Linebacker? With a pulse? We'll take him in Knoxville. The Vols have three good, proven LBs right now (AJ Johnson, Curt Maggitt, and Herman Lathers), but they are going to be utilizing the 3-4 this season. Some depth would be nice.
