08:10 AM ET 07.11 | Showing Jeremy Lin the money Houston offered isn't necessarily going to make the young point guard happy. [The Knicks are] also going to have to patch things up with their returning playmaker. Despite expressing no reservations about matching the exorbitant Rockets' offer sheet, which can become official Wednesday with Lin's signature, the Knicks are concerned that Lin has turned a little frosty toward the organization because he feels slighted that New York didn't offer him a contract first. ... "He was surprised that the Knicks didn't make the first move," a league source said. "They know they've got to mend some fences with him because he believes what the Rockets have told him, that the Knicks weren't as interested as they are."

After playing on different teams and different leagues, you have a 6 week run. Now you think you are Carmelo!

This is just bad reporting. Did Lin call or talk to the paper about not being happy with the Knicks move? For a Harvard grad making more money than his teachers that aint bad....

If the Knicks sign him, they are foolish. This guy is no more an NBA PG than I am. He might sell some jerseys to the Asian community, but that will decline as his time on the court does.

With Lin back, and Kidd/Camby in the mix, are the NYers ready to agree and challenge themselves that the Knicks are the second-best in the East?

Lin makes them worse. Kidd and Camby are senior citizens. Maybe they can get Jerry West to come out of retirement too. They are not even close to being the second best team in the east.
