08:16 AM ET 07.11 | Upon his introduction at the All-Star Game, Robinson Cano was again roundly booed by fans in K.C., though he smiled as he ran out of the dugout. [Cano] said he will have "no hard feelings" toward the Kansas City fans who booed him over the past two days but said they "(crossed) the line" when his family was yelled at while using a restroom at Kauffman Stadium. "The only thing I didn't like was the way they treated my family when they went to the restroom," Cano said after exiting Tuesday's All-Star Game. "Hopefully it stops here and (doesn't) go forward." When asked to elaborate on what occurred, Cano said, "They were yelling stuff to my family, which I don't see (as) the right thing."

This is a story?

alright, leaving the family out of it, Selig should really be happy to see Cano get booed. It means some fans actually care about this thing. And, frankly, they shouldn't. The All Star game is a bogus exhibition now. And the number of players whose HR totals plummet after participating in the Derby can't be ignored.

I didn't realize there was so much hatred for the Yankees in KC.

Kinda like when Yankees fans harrassed Cliff Lee's wife when he played for the Rangers. But obviously this has crossed an entirely different line because a Yankee is the target.

I like the thought of opening up the HR derby to nine guys per side, with only one round, and making it a team event. Each guy gets three outs. 27 outs per team. Most HRs win.

Interesting spin. In fact, you could make it the starting lineup for each team.

What Cano failed to mention is that fans were yelling at his family in the restroom because they were peeing in the sink.

Ha! Morning Slinky.

The two things Yankee fans can't complain about are 1) teams that are arrogant and 2) obnoxious fans.
