08:00 AM ET 07.12 | Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie has his own special shorthand for talking about one of the most important topics in his life. [McKinnie] is so big that he describes his weight in just two digits. The "300" is assumed. McKinnie is still squarely in the 300s, but he says he's been working to cut his weight in the offseason. The offensive tackle told Tim Brando on Yahoo! Sports Radio on Wednesday that his weight is down to 350 pounds. ... The Ravens signed McKinnie before the 2011 season after the Vikings cut him. Minnesota claimed McKinnie weighed 400 pounds at the time, but McKinnie denied that claim on Wednesday. "I never was," McKinnie said. "That was exaggerated by the Vikings."

McKinnie was just "massively boned".

No matter how you slice the bacon, that's a big dude!

That's not bacon; that's the entire pork belly!

What's a 100 Pounds give or Take?

July 12, 2012  08:31 AM ET

They need a new larger stadium just to put this guy in.

For a guy McKinnie's size? A light snack.

You never live up to your potential of being a number 1 pick in Minnesota. I don't know how much you weighed but I do know you got slower over the years there. That means big man you either didn't care or the guys that line up across from you were better than you.

July 12, 2012  09:56 AM ET

Being 125-150/lbs overweight is no exaggeration.

July 12, 2012  10:12 AM ET

So his weight is now "down" to 350 (sort of an admission that he knows he got too big), and the Vikings say he weighed 400 when they let him go. Bryant, you were overweight, and it showed.

Give the guy a break. He's just a little husky for his age.

But how many of them are in his head ?

July 12, 2012  12:18 PM ET

He should thank the Vikings for cutting him loose and allowing him the opportunity to land in an organization that actually knows what it's doing.

July 12, 2012  12:22 PM ET

He's just a lightweight. The Bills drafted a nose tackle called Michael Jasper who played at 450 in college and is now down to svelte 378

Strong reaction to Buffalo Wings. He should lay off them while he still has his intestines.

It wasn't his fault. "It's just that Bear Claws tend to get wedged... right...in...here"

July 12, 2012  02:00 PM ET

I recall that Gilbert Brown of the Packers was a good 350 pounds, or more.

When I looked it up, the Vikings initially drafted him.... so they have a pattern of big lovin.

Chinese buffets in Baltimore offering an "All you can eat for $8.95" should be very, very scared.
