08:14 AM ET 07.13 | Those at Penn State's student center who gathered to watch the release of the Freeh report live were stunned -- not by the content of the report but by what they missed. While most of campus was still sleepy, the small group was viewing CNN on a large screen, or one of several smaller screens nearby. ... Most were hoping that the report, part of a seven-month probe by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, would exonerate legendary football coach Joe Paterno. But, just as an anchor was ready to speak about the report, the television screens suddenly went blank. They then turned to a public access channel featuring a reporter from The Morning Call newspaper in Allentown about the state budget.

Just because you don't show it on the school's TVs doesn't mean it didn't happen. Shame.

Oh, and as for this article, this looks like PSU's verison of what USC did to the NCAA. Stonewalling and acting like nothing happened is doing nothing but setting yourself up for a bigger whack later on.

Don't you know the litigators handling the civil cases for the victims are licking their chops? With this report and these continued actions, Pedophile State University is making the case for them that they support a culture that is responsible for the damage done to these kids.

My big question: If an inquiry, with no subpoena power, found basically everyone culpable, what the hell has been going on with the normal day-to-day bullsh that most major colleges deal with, ie weed, assault and battery, dui, etc...
It took the most vial of acts to make someone look, and even now many are defending it. Its an effin cult.

I still think that the ncaa won't, and really can't, do anything. What ncaa by-law was violated in all this? The ncaa looks to see if specific acts aided in providing an unfair advantage on the field of play, or by providing benefits to student-athletes.
That said, I hope psu pays out billions and every time they play chants of "child molesters" echoes thru the stadium, since it appears the only thing they cared about was $$ and their precious "university honor"
