With the problems he has had in the past he may want to consider just staying with a group he knows well. Sometimes change can be tuff for an addict. Hopefully he will pray over the choice and not just go with the most money.

No Move Might be his best Move!!

Don't rule out the Yankees, once they get rid of Swisher and his 10 million after this season. Hamilton could hit 50 HRs at Yankee Stadium, the endorsements...etc..

I wouldn't worry about the outside pressures. They can happen regardless of location. I'd be more concerned about whether he can stay healthy.

Agents benefit from getting players to take the biggest dollar deal; players benefit from staying where they are successful. Trying out FA may be a way to maximize the offer from Texas--hope h sticks to that, and stays put.

Why would the Brewers bid on Hamilton after letting Prince walk?

This will be the most intriguing story of the offseason. What a talent, but what a gamble given his health.

Hamilton will not be sandwich in Milwaukee or Toronto because of one thing MONEY. Neither team in their history has shown they will empty the bank for one of these high price free agents.

Too bad Dan Gilbert won't buy the Indians and then they might have had a shot.

I have a couple of those too--they are more entertainment than FN even. Besides, if he sees you are distracted by posting, think of all the trouble he could get into!

I've figured for a while now the Jays would push hard for him. I can't see him coming though. And if i'm him, if they're paying, I don't see why he'd leave Texas.
