The Knicks should take this offer. Rip is a shooting guard and the contract is expiring. If it doesn't work out, its worth the stretch. They certainly need a shooting guard as it stands and the risk is very minimal. Lets face it, if we can sign 118 years in age in Thomas, Kidd and Camby, why not tack on another 34 or so in Hamilton. He's worth the risk. The Knicks now seems to be establishing themselves as the league's oldest team. Why doesn't this amazes me with Dolan and the Indiana clan thats now in place with lead consultant Zeke Thomas serving?

More proof that Bulls management really doesn't expect Rose back next season. Hamilton really didn't work out as planned last season due to injuries but you don'r rid yourself of another player who could contribute if you really expect to compete. They've already jettisoned most of their bench with Korver, CJ Watson, Brewer and most likely Asik gone; Lucas is probably going to leave as well.
The Bulls will probably be a lottry team next season, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. They can't compete with OKC or Miama so if you can't win it all you might as well go bad for a season and set yourself up for a run 2 to 3 seasons down the road.

The Bulls are dumping guys who can't play or can't play anymore. I for one will not miss CJ Watson, Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Kover, Richard Hamilton or Carlos Boozer.
The Bulls need to keep Rose, Deng, Noah, Gibson and Asik. And go from there. Really all they need is a 2 and bench players. And all of the players the Bulls have let go or traded are nothing move than bench players... Good bench players but bench guys non the less.

Why what's wrong with Brewer? Played solid defense last year and some timely 3s.
Krover can STILL shoot and he's not that expensive.
CJ pretty much carried the Bulls in stretches last year. As a backup, he's not bad at all.
RH sucked I can agree, Boozer ALWAYS sucked so I never understood that signing to begin with.

Boozer is a loser. The Bulls should amnesty his contract.
