09:02 AM ET 07.17 | Maryland Athletic Director Kevin Anderson denied Monday that he would be named Stanford's next athletic director, stating that "there's no truth" to a report that contract terms were all that stood between his departure from College Park. Maryland released a three-sentence statement later Monday afternoon re-iterating Anderson's denial.

Can't be too much wrong with the job.
Stanford just won its 18th consecutive Director's Cup symbolizing the university with the best overall sports programs. The Cup has only been in existence for 19 years and Stanford has won the last 18.
