Anyhow, they really need to get this done. Elway should recognize the importance of keeping a QB healthy, especially one that they've invested so much in. We're not talking about the Browns here and just throwing QB after QB to the wolves (or the Raiders).

I'm surprised we didn't get a thread about Marshawn Lynch's DUI arrest. He could be looking at a longer-than-expected summer vacation.

Clady's got one year left on his contract. Manning may have only one year left in his career. I hope he lasts longer than that, because he's still a class act, but I have my doubts.

Neck injuries are very chronic and have sent many good players to the sideline permanently. I hope he has better luck than Moose Johnston and Michael Irvin did.

Exactly. Peyton's got a wife and two kids he needs to be thinking about. If it were me, I would have hung it up and taken a coaching job or analyst gig at one of the major networks.

Me too, but neither of us is Peyton Manning. I just hope he hangs 'em up before he ends up in a wheelchair.
