I cannot understand why Texas doesn't have confidence in their minor league system or pitchers they have on the roster now to get them over the top.

why not on Lee? whats wrong with him?......If i could chose, 1.felix 2. hamels 3. lee 4 greinke

if hamels isnt available i rather have lee than greinke. Felix isnt available.

But, if the Rangers are to pick up a Hamels, wouldn't they have to trade some guys such as Neftali Feliz, Alexi Ogando, or their young SS, Profar?

I suspect one of the obstacles for a trade for Cliff Lee is that he didn't want to sign with them last year, and likely hasn't changed his mind. But maybe he didn't get a no-trade clause in his contract.

rangers could and should have great advantage for either cliff lee, or cole hamels on either trade the texas rangers should be a winner team!!!

but yes, he did got a no trade clause in his contract with the phillies,, except nobody knows if it was with the rangers or any other team

felix hernandez its not for a trade bait,, but who knows the marines could surprise anybody,, by now!!!

the rangers could throw in the trade some players like, ogando, feliz, david holland, for cliff lee and the phillies wouldn't say no to that type of a offer!!!

either for cliff lee or cole hamels!!!

the good thing about the rangers they do have plenty arms available to trade for lee, hamels, greinke, liriano, dempster!!
