08:12 AM ET 07.20 | It hasn't taken Denver long to shake things up again. With the maximum 15 players now under contract, there are questions about just who will play for the Nuggets next season. Nuggets coach George Karl took time on the phone Thursday to discuss numerous hot topics. Q: With McGee, Kenneth Faried, Al Harrington, Kosta Koufos, Timofey Mozgov and Randolph, you now have six players at the power forward and center positions. How will you handle this? A: "There's no question, it's too many. It's a situation that if everybody is healthy, it's going to be a tough thing. There's no question that 1-2 players, might even be three, might not be happy with the minutes they get."

Nuggets have a lot of depth. It might be time to consider trading some of it out to acquire a difference maker. They are a good team, but there isn't one player there capable of pushing them closer to the Thunder and Lakers.

Six players at the 4/5 position is too much if everyone wants starter vs. role player minutes. Still a lot of deals to be made, so maybe Denver is somewhere in that mix.

I was thinking the same thing myself. If those guys could all be combined, you still wouldn't have a player.

That's three guys per position, which leaves 9 open roster spots to, yep you guessed it add up to three guys per position. Either you keep this balance or overstock at one position specifically, or don't keep a full roster. So the problem isn't that they have too many guys, but rather none that stand out above the rest.

Such a sad situation in Colorado. Now we've got to make sure this guys rights are not violated. I long for the day someone turns the tables, and actually blows one of these crazies away.

++I just heard about that story. It's breaking news right now. Some guy went on a shooting spree in a movie theater in Colorado, killing 14 people. There are some crazzzzeeeeeyyyyyy people in this world of ours.

12 dead at the theater. 38 injured and 9 currently in critical condition. According to the news here.

If as you said, everyoine is at the same level and is happy with averaging 16 mpg, and if you can have the team consistency/continuity rotating guys in like that, then should be ok.

But as I said, if everyone wants starter minutes (30 mpg, let's say), then it's a problem. Which is what Karl is being asked about. It seems like they need to make a trade.

Time To Get Rocky Mountain High, Bro?

i laugh at anyone who still says the knicks gave up too much for Carmelo. of all the guys traded for him Nuggets only have galinari, mozgov and chandler. and they can't even use Mozgov as a starter. people just wanna hate.

Time to ink Tywon to a contract extension and ensure the assets around him are ready to run.

The difference is that Denver has people occupying roster spots, but they still don't have a center.
