It all has Terry Ryan, who took over as the Twins' GM in November, convinced he needs to move some product. And no position or player, Ryan said Thursday, is off limits. ... That means the team that left for a six-game road trip through Kansas City and Chicago on Thursday evening might look different from the one that returns to face the Cleveland Indians on July 27. And it means longtime members of the Twins' core such as Francisco Liriano, Denard Span and Justin Morneau -- each of interest to contending teams as the July 31 non-waiver deadline approaches -- might be playing for a pennant somewhere else in August.

The Twinkles have made terrible draft picks, trades, and free agents moves over the last several years that has set them back probably 10 years in being competitive. Now all they can do is like the Cubs start over and built your foundation with young prospects.

Morneau is a shadow of his former self. Never quite recovered from his injuries, especially his concussion. Any team that trades for him is taking a huge risk. Span is a much safer option.

<cough> Garza & Ortiz come to mind. Trading Johan for essentially nobody & Ramos for Capps. I could go on but my Twinkies have made a lot of bad decisions.

Span will go 1st probably to Washington, they're looking for a CF that could lead off. We need to move Liriano now if we're gonna get any value. And as much as I love Morneau, he's gotta go. He hasn't been the same since his concussion- his approach to lefties is awful.

I gotta feeling we're goin to be cellar dwellers for a while. 90's here we come!
