08:23 AM ET 07.21 | A contrite Patrick Kane didn't skate away from questions regarding his latest misstep that shed a bad light on the Blackhawks. Kane made his first public appearance Friday since photos of him attending the Mifflin Street Block Party in Madison, Wis., on May 5 were published on deadspin.com showing the seemingly intoxicated 23-year-old cavorting with college students, apparently passed out at a bar and, in one, appearing to walk away after a confrontation with a police officer. "We all saw the photos, they're pretty embarrassing," Kane said before the opening ceremony of the Blackhawks Convention. "It was the offseason and you're trying to have a good time but you have to realize the spotlight you're in no matter where you are. For me, the situation I'm in now is you always have to act like someone is watching you. "I was looking for a good weekend with my friends and things probably got a little bit out of control. From seeing the pictures to the stories, it's not fun to see but hopefully it's something that can make me better as a person."

I'm a Hawks fan,but I don't much care for this guy as a human being. As a hockey player... that's a different story.

I don't care for him as a hockey player either. Sorry but, he's a hot dog on and off the ice.

Kane, two words: Grow Up! You're not in college any more and you're heading in a direction that will lose you a job that the rest of us can only dream about. Is partying like that really worth it?

"I was looking for a good weekend with my friends and things probably got a little bit out of control."
Here is a good idea, instead of going to college bars, why not just buy some beer, or more likely, what ever girly drink you drink, and have a good weekend at your home. I'm sure you have a nice home, and can throw a decent get together at your home. Then when you feel like you wanna get laid, call some girl that you've been with before and invite her and some of her friends over. Preferably a girl that you haven't had pictures posted on the internet with, in which you had no shirt on.
This way, you can control the environment at home, and don't have to worry about photos being posted all over the internet.
Be an **** at home.

We've all been there at some point in our lives so don't appear to be shocked by this. At least he wasn't driving.

He won't. Not any time soon. He's too self absorbed to grow up. Every time I hear the name Patrick Kane all I see in my mind's eye is the image of that punk wearing a Superman cape at the All Star game. What might help is if a few of the Hawks players take the punk out for a cab ride in South Chicago and "explain" things a little bit better to him like Mark Messier did with Petr Klima way back when. Beyond that, I'm afraid the only thing that will fix this "problem" is a trade. Does Stanley Boy have the gonads to get it done?

Kane: 'For me, the situation I'm in now is you always have to act like someone is watching you."
Well, helloooo! Anybody home? Of course they're watching you! That's the price you pay when you sign your name to a contract that pays you millions of dollars! You chose to put yourself in that fish bowl! You want privacy? Get a job stocking shelves at WalMart!

I hadn't heard this story before, so after some googling, I found out what happened.
Here is the story for anyone interested: http://deadspin.com/5909246/reconstructing-patrick-kanes-drunken-weekend-i n-madison?tag=patrickkane
It is hilarious how big of a **** and **** he is. He is wearing a t-shirt that says "Kaner" on it. There is also some pretty funny quotes.
To recap his weekend though, he got kicked out of a bar Friday night for being too drunk and an ****. Then kicked out of a frat party Saturday morning for choking a girl and trying to fight some other guys. Then Saturday afternoon he was about to get in a fight with some guys after he made some anti-Semetic comments before police intervened. He then left crying. Then Saturday night he got kicked out of two more bars.

But then when he gets this wasted and asks like such a ****, he wont be able to get away with it without getting the crap kicked out of him. He also wouldn't ever get laid.

What a waste, really. What he doesn't realize is that his career will be over before he knows what bit him if he doesn't smarten up.

So after he made some anti-Semetic comments he went over to Mel Gibsons' house and talked how much better they were than everybody else.

And let the Kane hate begin in three, two, one...oh, im too late. Its funny to see ppl hate on a guy because he plays like he's having fun. Its nothing more than jealousy because you wish you could do the same. Sure, he has a lot of growing up to do off the ice, but this Guy's a star on it and it doesn't require a business like Toews attitude to get it done. Get over yourselves
