08:37 AM ET 07.22 | Among veteran centers, the Heat has had conversations with Darko Milicic, whose agent said Saturday there's no update beyond an initial "fact-finding" inquiry from Miami. The Heat hasn't ruled out re-signing Ronny Turiaf if he's interested in taking the $1.2 million minimum. Miami has not called about Chris Anderson, released by Denver. Power forward Andray Blatche, amnestied by Washington, could be an option, though Miami did not contact his agent when he initially cleared waivers.

The Nets did a great job this off-season in building a team. With yet another add of a decent player for small dollars, the Heat aren't far behind.

The Heat have lacked one big. They may have solved this problem.

What more can Miami hope for? Four of the top five 2003 draft picks playing on their team.

LeBron #1, Milicic #2, Bosh #4 & Wade at #5. They've got to be considered a shoe in to win it again in 2013!

QUOTE(#12):

...it would be better for Dallas simply to trade Kaman directly for Howard...

Really? This is your suggestion?

In that case, Orlando should announce that they're waiting for Kaman to become eligable to be traded in order to acquire him for Dwight!

SMH!

QUOTE(#17):

Hey, at the rate Orlando is going, Howard may in fact still be untraded at that point ! :)Seriously, if a deal like that were to be agreed on in advance, then both sides would simply wait until Kaman were eligible to pull the trigger. All the negotiations and terms would be settled for legal purposes now. The official trade date would simply occur later.

Kaman for Howard?
