Dolphins eye free-agent DEs
Some inside the Dolphins see starter Matt Roth as more of an off-the-bench type. But the free agent list of defensive ends isn't great. The Chiefs' Jared Allen likely will get the franchise tag. Two who will draw interest: Tennessee's Antwan Odom (eight sacks) and San Francisco's Marques Douglas.

Get depth on the roster. You never know where the injury Gremlins will strike. Always better to keep good players on the roster than be left hanging.

If Allen doesnt get tagged...expect Parcells to make a HUGE RUN after him. Jared Allen is 1 of the most underrated DE in the NFL today. Lets not waste money on things we really may not need. Jason Taylor off the end, and use a combo of LB/DB blitz packages. We'll have Dorsey in the middle.....lets wait a year for Allen to hit the market since they cant tag him 2 years in a row. How about Trufant, or Samuel, since we need more DB help then DL/DE help. Lets go parcells!!
