08:09 AM ET 07.24 | Hello, Brooklyn, indeed. As opening night continues to draw closer, the Nets are continuing to say, "Hello Brooklyn." In the latest stage of their rollout as the Brooklyn Nets, the team launched a marketing campaign in Brooklyn yesterday involving their top four players -- Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace and Brook Lopez. "We are delighted to continue building a connection between Brooklynites and the players on their new home team," said Brooklyn Nets CEO Brett Yormark in a statement. ... As part of the rollout, each of the four players will have personalized messages on billboards around the borough, including on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, by the Manhattan Bridge, Atlantic Avenue and Eastern Parkway.

Good luck with the fan base building Nets. You're going to need it.

Good thing they have James Dolan and his dumb decision making there to help them out with that.

We shall see how good dwil is....he has the best supporting cast he's had in his career. I think they will end up being a #3-5 seed

I don't think a #2 seed is out of reach for them. I think D Will is that good and once they gel, they could be better than the Celtics/Pacers/Bulls. Avery will have them playing hard every night.

I can't wait to see if its going to work because everything on paper that looks good doesnt 100% of the time work out. And if any 1 of those 4 get hurt they probably will sink instead of swim

I think they will be a solid team.

Jay-Z is gathering some serviceable assets in Brooklyn. A mixture of seasoned vets to compliment the 4 mentioned in the article. Where's the love 4 Kris?
