Coyotes leaving Doan in the dark?

08:25 AM ET 07.24 | To some degree, Shane Doan is flying blind. By last Thursday, when he was in New York for an NHLPA labor meeting, Doan's camp hoped to hear from prospective Coyotes buyer Greg Jamison by the end of the week to gain reassurance that his bid to purchase the team was still progressing. Without that insight, Doan was expected to examine the 16 teams that have expressed interest in him and study the six offers already extended to determine where he could envision himself next season if he wasn't with the Coyotes. That communication from the Jamison group never came. ... Doan has had conversations with Jamison, but agent Terry Bross said he hasn't heard from Jamison and isn't sure how recently the former San Jose Sharks executive reached out to Doan.

If this takes as long as most other Coyote issues............stay, go, Glendale and the arena issues, ownership..............Shane will be about 68 years old when a final offer is made from the owner in whatever city Phoenix might then be resident in.
