I like it. Trout is a good CF--not the same caliber glove as Bourjos, but they will be just fine with him in CF for the next 10 years or so

Did you see what they signed Hammels for ?

Hamels signing with the Phils long term resets the trade market for guys such as Shields, Grienke and others. Tampa is smiling, as they will probably get Santana, Bourjos and Conger for Shields.

there its not a single contract guarantee from the phillies to all 3 pitchers, as its CLIFF LEE, HAMELS HALLADAY, the rangers are expecting to lureout lee and hamels before the dealine plus the rangers do have plenty good PROSPECTS!!!

the question here its,, its james shields a free agent at the end of this season?? or shields has been signed by the rays to a long term contract and how many years does shields has left in this contract???

if shields its a free agent by the end of the season, the rays would win in this trade and the team who loses would be the halos, after all the halos are use to lost top prospects in every trade every time that they think could help them, but a rented player has cero guarantee in signing with the angels,,, mark texeira!!!

it appears that the players who are in that trade, could it be santana, conger, howe kendrick, the angels could send to the rays this players,,,except pete bourjos!!!

if bourjos hasn't been hitting conssistent its thanks to mike sciocia every day lineup,
if the angels manager plays bourjos in every game in place of hunter then bourjos could have better stats as a hitter, the less plate appearences for bourjos, the lower his avg the lower his stats as well!!
