08:04 AM ET 07.26 | Having recorded only 15 wins over their last 80 games, the Rams aren't exactly considered as a playoff threat. Don't tell [Jeff Fisher] that. "If I were to say we'll go 10-6, what do I tell the players about the six games we're going to lose? That's not fair to them," Fisher said. "I'm coming out and saying it's OK to lose six games? No, I'm not going to say that. You've got to start over, every single year. And there's no reason why we can't have the same expectations that everyone else has." The Rams finally have a strong, confident leader in the building. If Fisher is nearly as good as he thinks he is, he'll eventually deliver a winner. ... The long climb begins now, with the Rams starting from the bottom of the NFL

But have they improved more than the team that was?

I think they'll have to play the games before we know.

he won't settle for losses? so, if they lose a game, is he going to quit? go postal on Goodell? at what point does he stop trying to win a game that has already been lost?

well, not so much....they had the same bottom feeder 2-14 record as the Colts but didn't get the benefit of the top pick....I'd say that makes them lower than the Colts....

I would love to see Fisher put his money where his mouth is and make his entire contract dependent on # of wins. But I do agree with his message, at least he didn't utter the words "Dream Team"

They're my new second favorite team Mangler. They helped us land a real QB.

Also, look for them to make some noise in the next few years. They're drafts are set.

The Jets will make noise this season. Lots of noise. And nothing but noise.

Health alone should make a difference.

Not saying they will win the NFC Worst but they should be better.

Arizona and Seattle will probably continue to disappoint their fans. It will be interesting to see how the Niners do against a division winner's schedule.

They start early doing that every year. the most offseason noise of any team!

Most teams count on their fans to make noise. Not the Jests.

I dont think he has a Choice!!!!

The Rams will finish 8-8 or better this season. Jeff Fisher will make a big difference in that team.

Bradford will blossom, and the team has a buttload of draft picks the next couple of years. Things are looking up in St. Louis.

The Cardinals' time has gone, the Seahawks time is not gonna come, and the 49ers have this year and maybe next to get it done. After that, they'll all be looking up at the Rams in the West.

Who is the Rams DC since Williams got whacked?

Don't you mean "Things are looking up in Los Angeles?"
