The brothers Gasol, Pau and Marc, are NBA All-Stars. Serge Ibaka, who's 23 years old, played in the NBA finals and finished second in the voting for NBA defensive player of the year. Point guard Jose Calderon finished fourth in the NBA in assists this past season. Euroleague star Juan Carlos Navarro was a second-team all-rookie in his only NBA season. In addition to its talent, Spain has great continuity.

What!?!?! that doesn't even make sense! The only way the Grizzlies trades Pau for Marc is if the GM had some secret allegiance to the Lakers which would be crazy.... Stern would have vetoed that trade instantly!

The USA has competition (Spain being #1b and Argentina being #2) but the #1a biggest threat is themselves, they have to play as a team and not a bunch of Iso guys, they are undersized they have speed agility strength that are going to have to use to their advantage.
