Is this really news?

Damn head case!

July 26, 2012  08:18 AM ET

Seriously?

And here I thought he had finally found inner peace.

July 26, 2012  08:20 AM ET

why does he hate Orlando so much ?

Howard's not happy in Orlando? I wonder if the Lakers would have any interest in trading for him...

I just read on Yahoo that Howard is telling everyone who will listen that he is signing in Dallas if no trade to the Lakers or Nets is executed. Maybe Cuban didn't blow this as bad as we had all thought....

Nah! Kobe warned him not to come or else he is just the 3rd option...lol

Well in all fairness, he hasn't proven anything and was going to play behind seven rings in Kobe and Pau. And only for a short time as it was going to become his team in the very near future!

With what Howard has recently said about never wanting to play for Orlando, it is now a bad idea for him to come into the Magic pre-season camp. Only LA comes close to meeting all the reqs of all parties. It seems like LA is the place for him. Needs to get done soon.

If you look back at Yahoo articles you'll also find some that say 'Howard will only sign with Brooklyn', 'Howard is willing to sign with the Lakers' and a few other like that. So...

Cuban blew it!

Agree about Cuban. If this does extend into next summer, Cuban will probably get Howard.

I feel bad for Dirk as it seems he will have lost two years where the Mavs could have contended. Getting Howard will probably = rings, so that would make up for it.

My goodness this one is not going away!

It seems to me Howard is putting himself out on a limb here, creating an atmosphere wherein Orlando has to make a move. The next half way decent deal that comes down the pike will be accepted. The Magic can no longer stand waiting for the next bus to come along.

Yep, I think you're right about the Magic needing to move Howard. And it probably will be a lesser deal than what has been offered before.

Whatever his motivation, and whether it's running or flying, he needs to move very quickly and very soon.
