08:14 AM ET 07.26 | Matt McGloin is staying, but there may be a number of players interested in leaving Penn State -- and coaches are somewhat literally lining up to catch them. Welcome to the ultimate feeding frenzy, college football style. And so much for institutional control. ... [The] NCAA couldn't have anticipated this. The parking lot behind the Lasch Building was crawling Wednesday with coaches from a number of schools. Some coaches even hung out at residences waiting for players to come outside. "We have chosen to stay at PSU & other opposing coaches are outside our apartment," senior cornerback Stephon Morris said on Twitter. "Was that the intention of the NCAA? #leaveusalone"

Looks like more players are staying then anyone thought would stay.

They'll claim they are staying right up until they make the decision to leave. This kind of press conference was to be expected.

Texas could probably use some of their guys. We probably don't need any of them.

As doc has said before, you should have seen the campus at SMU. A friend of mine was a player there, and there were literary 100's of them like slimy salesmen.

Yes, we are poaching 3 stars. Lol.

I'd love to see all these ghouls leave emptyhanded. I know some (a lot) of the kids will leave and who can blame them. But if the NCAA wanted to tarnish football further after the PSU mess, this slimy feeding frenzy is the way to go.

I also would not think you guys would need anybody from PSU, but on the other hand (and I posted this a few days ago), USA Today did report that Saban contacted the high school coach of Brian Gaia, an offensive lineman in whom he was interested. You can also take a look at your own al.com for confirmation.
