Not sure how being opposed to gay marriage flies in the face of the "you can play project", but it's hardly shocking that the media would try to make it so. I didn't realize hockey and the NHL was now going to become an advocate for the GLAT lobby.

Thomas is entitled to his opinion and never needed any of his teammates to OK them or explain them......especially a chickenschiit one that is too cowardly to go on the record.

1) It's not just the marriage opossition, they are kind of bigoted anyway, so yeeah, that does go opposite of an itiative to promote tolerance.
2) he is indeed allowed his opinion...but so is the league. But is bigotry and exclusion an opinion?
3) GLAT lobby? Timmy keeps kosher?

I agree about this part though, maybe cowardly isn't the right word. I will say that some of the people that....feel the same way Timmy seems to" aren't always so ready to let others disagree, and life could be made tough for this guy. The left isn't much better sometinmes....but they don't shoot people
