08:09 AM ET 07.27 | Pau Gasol is taking seriously Spain's bid for Olympic hardware. "I have been preparing myself and working to get better this summer," Gasol, a two-time National Basketball Association (NBA) champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, told reporters at a news conference. ... NBA team mate Kobe Bryant took notice after Gasol led Spain with 19 points in an exhibition game defeat to the United States in Barcelona on Tuesday. Bryant said the 7-foot (2.13m), 32-year-old Gasol looked stronger, absorbing contact and pushing back in an impressive display that boded well for future Lakers' success. "I'm a beast," Gasol told Reuters. "Yeah, I feel pretty good. I feel strong." I would not be upset if the Bulls actually pulled a trade off to get this guy, I've always liked his game.

QUOTE(#3):

This would help somewhat but what the Bulls need is Rose back the way he was before he went down.

not many players can come back 100% after a big injury, lets hope that he can be stoudamire

I am impressed by Spain's defeat of these frauds (with his US teamate in particular) suggesting there the equal of the original dream team. It's just like the fraud who likes to compare himself to Jordan so I expect no less from this fraud. He'll be quick to tell you that "I have five rings" but convienantly leave out the fact the Shaq and not him was the MVP and Leader of 3 of those rings. Shaq only average during that time in championship play 33.5 pts and 13 rbs and throw in a coupla swats a game....."and those stats really about tells it all"!

Now on to Gasol.....although he's picked up some muscle, he a far cry from a beast. I see somma Kobe has rub off on him. I think the Lakers are ultimately gonna ghost his ass anyways............Pau get ready to pack up and be outtie!

what else is Gasol going to say? That he's soft as a cupcake?

*Spain's loss to these frauds

I'll believe it when I see it.
