Rockies will look at Anderson

Even after addressing their biggest need with right-hander Luis Vizcaino, the Rockies' bullpen could use a left-handed complement. With a month before pitchers and catchers report, Colorado's troll for another insurance arm will include a look at Brian Anderson. Anderson, 35, said Saturday he will throw in Cleveland on Friday. The veteran hasn't competed in the major leagues since 2005 because of arm problems.

The world is getting to be a funny place when Luis Vizcaino addresses a team's biggest need. This is his fifth team in four years. The Brewers, White Sox, DBacks and Yankees all are looking for bullpen help but found this guy not valuable enough to keep, so what are we to conclude?
