Team USA talking about 'Melo-Lin flak

09:28 AM ET 07.28 | Even on European soil, Carmelo Anthony can't escape Linsanity, or more precisely the theory that he helped run Jeremy Lin out of New York. The topic was even discussed on the Team USA bus recently as Anthony's Olympic teammates, well-aware of the criticism the Knicks' All-Star is receiving in the United States, teased him about his suspected role in Lin's departure. "Guys on the bus were laughing and giving him some flak," Tyson Chandler said. "But Melo said, 'I liked the kid. I wanted him back.' You say that on the bus when no cameras are around and you know that's how he really feels." Anthony chuckled on Friday when he was asked if he was aware of the backlash, telling reporters on the eve of the Olympics, "Believe it or not I've been one of the true supporters of Jeremy Lin." The perception, of course, is that Anthony was not in Lin's corner and that Melo revealed his true feelings two weeks ago when he called the three-year, $25 million contract offer Lin received from the Houston Rockets "ridiculous."

I usually dont go this far...but I would like the NBA much more without Melo or Howard.

Yeah because Lebron left Cavs you bashed, because Howard wants outta bum **** silly **** Orlando, you want him outta the NBA, and not surprising, you want Melo outta the NBA as well because he said what countless other have said "that Jeremy Love is overpaid and not worth that contract. Can you come up with somethin else aside from your uncontrollable hate for these superstars on the basketball court? Yeah 3 of the six IMO in the NBA......if you can't, maybe you should stop watching the NBA and do somethin else.

That's not hard, NYK don't play defense.

I Love Melo, he might have been in Lins Corner as he says, but he certainly wasn't on Lins COURT, when he played for The Knicks!!!

Melo is a New York Knick and that in its self is a statement! Hate all you want but its not going to get you anything. Hate got you absolutely nothin with Lebron but watching him celebrate his NBA ring(You'll most likely be watching him hoist another trophy soon enough). No one here in New York really care as much as most of you care about the loss of that ex-drywall hanger Jeremy Love. His **** is ghost and trust me "his **** ain't missed" move on will ya!

You'll be waiting for the turn of the century I trust. Jeremy Love don't have that kinda game. He stumble into that 38 pts performance against the Lake show, now you're asking him to duplicate, knowing fully well he's never gonna see them numbers a again.
