Mack said the four-man race for the starting job was wide open in the spring of 2011, even though most of us believed there was no way that Garrett Gilbert would not take the first snap of the season. ... So now Mack is back at it, spreading the gospel or tantalizing media and fans with suggestions that either Ash or McCoy could be handed the reins to a run-heavy offense. Maybe the coaches didn't know before they got away this week for a 2 1/2-day retreat to fine-tune plans for fall workouts, which will begin after the team reports Aug. 5. Both quarterbacks had their moments last season.

Mack Brown has entered the Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden old man training program for coaches who are out of touch with today's players. Since Mack is clueless and old , Brown can stand around and do nothing like Paterno and Bowden. Go mack

Was painting the under-eaves of the shed this weekend...had my hat turned around so the bill wouldn't get in the way. Stepped out to look at what I had done and looked up into the sun. My first reaction was to shield my eyes with my hand. Realizing what I was doing, my hand continued around to the back and grabbed the bill....LOL
